Knowledge Exchange Series—Arctic Narratives

Knowledge Exchange Series—Arctic Narratives

About this event

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) and the University of Ottawa invite you to save the date for Arctic Narratives, the inaugural event of the Knowledge Exchange Series, a new collaborative initiative between the two institutions.

The Knowledge Exchange Series brings together research and community expertise to explore pressing issues through the lens of Canada’s documentary heritage. Taking place twice a year, in fall and spring, the series creates opportunities to share knowledge, engage with documentary sources and explore new perspectives on Canada’s past, present and future.

Arctic Narratives will examine the North through the records, stories and research that shape our understanding of the Arctic—its history, its peoples, its landscape and its future.

Authors, researchers and community leaders will share their expertise and perspectives on topics related to the Arctic, including governance, data sovereignty, exploration and climate change.
