About this event
Celebrate Journées de la culture with Library and Archives Canada?(LAC)! To mark the occasion, we’re opening the doors of our Preservation Centre in Gatineau, Quebec, to the public.
In honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the event will highlight Indigenous cultures, histories and knowledge. Through a rich and diverse program of activities, you will learn more about Indigenous Peoples in Canada and their contributions to our shared history.

Guided tours of the Preservation Centre’s vaults including the works of art vault (registration required – see the bottom of this page)
Screening of two short films from the National Film Board collection in the theatre located within the building normally used as one of the film preservation laboratories (registration required – see the bottom of this page)
